A bit about me…
First and foremost,
I am a storyteller.
My family always expected me to be an author. There was nothing I loved more as a kid than coming up with new ways to captivate an audience. Every family dinner became a performance, every conversation an adventure.
Flash-forward to my senior year of high school, I interned in the Education Department at Baltimore Center Stage Theater. We developed plays submitted by elementary school students with professional actors and directors. I saw the students’ faces light up with excitement, as this intersection of learning and entertainment unfolded before them -- and I was hooked.
I went on to pursue this passion for audience captivation at Northwestern University, majoring in Communication Studies with a minor in Psychology and a Digital Media Module. From running a College Emmy Award-winning Late Night Show to writing, producing and starring in a video marketing campaign for a K-12 school, my love for the entertainment industry shaped my time as an undergraduate.
As of March 2021, I have graduated early from Northwestern, having been recognized each year as the student with the best academic record in my course of study. I am currently interning at both Chicago Filmmakers and Port Discovery Children's Museum in order to deepen my industry knowledge and develop the necessary skills to be successful in children’s entertainment.
I am a dedicated, passionate creator. A performer turned educator, TV enthusiast turned producer, author turned marketer.
And now, I am looking for the next chapter in my story.
